GLOBAL IT COMPANY SETS UP BUSINESS IN NORTHERN ZEALAND
Jun. 11, 2008 | Topic: Regional setupAustralian software company Haley Ltd. has established an office in northern Zealand to cover all the Nordic countries from the Danish Capital Region.
Until February this year Haley Ltd. was known as RuleBurst, but chose the more well known American name when the company bought up the Washington-based IT company Haley last year.
Haley Ltd., headquartered in Sydney, is also represented in Canberra, Melbourne, Washington, Pittsburgh, Singapore and London, and from June now also in the Danish Capital Region.
The office in North Zealand will service major new customers such as the Danish tax authorities and Statistics Denmark.
Haley Ltd. specialises in software solutions for the administration of complex rules and regulations, and in systems which are typically used in the public sector. The solutions are able to reveal fraud and deception, and are capable of observing the strict administrative rules to which public authorities are subject. This is why Haley Ltd. counts some of the world’s largest public authorities among its clients and cooperates with global companies such as Oracle, SAP, Microsoft, IBM, Adobe and Lagan.
At present the staff of Haley Ltd.’s Denmark office comprises only a managing director; however, as the number of Nordic clients grows the number of employees will also grow.
Copenhagen Capacity contacted Haley Ltd.’s European office in London last January. The organisation assisted Haley Ltd. to become established in the Danish Capital Region by providing information about Danish labour market conditions, company forms and various legal issues.
